RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot in Riyadh to discuss bilateral ties and regional developments,according to the report.
The two ministers reviewed areas of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and France and addressed key international issues, with a special focus on the situation in the Gaza Strip.
They also discussed preparations for the Palestinian settlement conference, co-hosted by Saudi Arabia and France, which is scheduled to take place in June and aims to support efforts toward achieving a two-state solution.
The meeting was attended by Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al-Farhan, adviser to the minister for political affairs, Saudi Ambassador to France Fahd Al-Ruwaili, and Manal Radwan, adviser at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
